How it Works

What is a supper club? - supper clubs are often described as a cross between a restaurant and a dinner party, where you get the benefits of both. You enjoy high quality food in a relaxed, warm ambiance.

Our supper club - on occasion we will host a supper club in various locations across the UK. We take minimum bookings of 2, but again you are also welcome to book the whole table if preferred. Typically, dinners will start at 7pm and you're welcome to stay until 10pm, giving you three hours to enjoy the evening with us. However, depending on the menu, the supper club may start earlier or finish later to accommodate more courses.

Payment - the cost varies each month depending on the menu, ranging from £40pp to £100pp. You can either pay the full cost up front, meaning you do not have to worry about paying on the night or you can place a 50% deposit to secure your place and pay the remaining in cash or card on the evening.

What do I need to bring? - as we do not supply alcohol, we encourage you to bring your own. We will provide chilled tap water but if you would like any other soft drinks, please bring those too. Some guests have brought along games they enjoy playing in a dinner party environment; we are more than happy for you to do the same as long as they do not cause a mess or risk any potential damage to our venue.

Menus - we do our best to ensure each supper club will have a different menu, as we often find we have returning guests. If you are joining us again and loved a particular dish so much that you want to enjoy it again, please let us know upon booking and we will do our best to accommodate this request.

Etiquette

To ensure the continued success and longevity of our monthly supper club, we have always asked our guests to abide by a few simple rules and request that our guests respect our venue with the same courtesy that they would want their own guests to treat their home.

Dress code - we want you to wear whatever you feel comfortable in. If you have booked the whole table we always think it's nice to pick a theme!

Dietary requirements – we spend 3-4 weeks testing and planning each menu we create to ensure our guests are always delighted by each dish put in front of them. We therefore need to know if you or any of your party have any dietary requirements, food allergies and strong dislikes (although we do say be open to trying new things) upon booking. Within our home kitchen we cannot cater for severe nut allergies or vegan diets.

Alcohol - we do not sell alcohol on our premises, therefore we welcome you to bring your own. We have red wine decanters available but due to limited fridge space, we ask you to bring any white wine bottles already chilled.

Service - we are a family run business with a goal to ensure you have a fantastic evening in our home or venue. We do not request a service charge, however, if you are feeling generous, donations are always gratefully received by your hosts. Should you have an issue during the evening, please let us know as soon as possible so we can rectify it.

Cancellations - As we meticulously plan our menu, buy the ingredients and spend potentially days preparing the meals, any cancellations can cause a serious loss. We therefore operate a strict cancellation policy. We ask for two weeks' notice to be given a full refund, following this you will receive a 50% refund up until the last 72 hours where no refund will then be provided.

Arrival - as we do not have the benefit of a huge kitchen and multitude of chefs, we plan these events to every tiny detail and timing is critical to this. We therefore ask for you to arrive as close to the time provided as possible.
